Before you buy
What a licence actually does
- Do I need to be online to use it?
- Only to activate, and any connection will do: the wifi at home, a hotspot, a colleague’s phone. After that Sparks runs offline for a month at a time and renews itself quietly whenever you next have signal.
- What happens on a new phone?
- Activate it with the same key. A licence covers a number of devices, and you can release one from Settings to free the seat.
- What happens when it runs out?
- The paid content closes and the free toolkit carries on working. Calculators, the isolation checklist and the colour codes never expire.
- Is this an official course?
- No. Sparks is a study aid written with a practising electrician. Always verify against the current edition of I.S. 10101, and follow your training provider.
